FIRED UP!!!!

Okay...I heard two news stories on the way to work today that have gotten my blood pressure up!!!

First, has anyone heard of these new "chronic pops"? Apparently somewhere in Florida, there are suckers called "chronic pops" that are pot flavored. Their advertising slogan is "dont tell your parents...tell a friend"...omigosh, that is the craziest thing i have ever heard of. what are they going to have next? cocoa puffs that taste like cocaine?

The Second thing is this "Runaway Bride" thing...for some reason, I have followed a lot of this story. The new news that came out over the weekend is that she has done this more than once...she did the exact same thing to a guy eight years ago, and then broke up with another fiance OVER THE PHONE!!! after they had picked out rings and shopped for houses. The newest news is that the media has now "given her an excuse" for her latest malicious break off. Apparently her current fiance did not want to have sex before they got married...this of course led to the poor poor girl's being "frustrated", so of course she had to go to vegas to "get it out of her system".

we live in a world where no one takes any responsibility for what they do. why should the runaway bride???

Why is her fiance so ready to still get married to her after all she's put him through? Why are the police so willing to let her off with a light slap on the wrist? Why is the media so concerned with this story. Whatever happened to the real news?

AMEN...

when did news become: Michael Jackson, a woman on life support, the pope and the runaway bride.

granted, some of the coverage of certain aspects of all of those could be deemed newsworthy.

but they show fox news in the loby of my office building, and when the pope was dying, fox showed 8 hours a day of the light in his room going on and off.

i agree with you too...the state had talked about suing her at one point. personally i think she should have to pay it all back.

After the pope died you couldn't get away from it. I was in the hospital surgery waiting room when all the stations were showing him wheeled down the streets of Rome with everyone chanting. Real encouraging TV watching for people with loved ones in surgery. :)

RE: the Runaway Bride....she is wearing me out. It's no wonder guys are scared half out of their mind to date these days when a seemingly safe girl like that can't keep a commitment...or uses the phone to break it. She gives us good ones a bad name. :) Her current fiance (what?...number 3 or 4?)needs to cut ties and move on or he may be in for more heartache.

I agree...The whole runaway bride thing is CRAZY! She needs a BIG wake up call...SHE NEEDS JESUS! :) Oh, and I have to agree on the Pope thing too. Just let him die in peace! The whole world doesn't need to see every second of his last days! Okay, done ranting now :).
